The first time his parents took him to church, Lance went kicking and screaming. He then promptly slept through the entire service. From that moment it was obvious that he was destined to be a pastor. Lance became a Christian in middle school and in 2006 he answered the Lord's call to ministry as he began the process toward ordination. Lance has had many jobs within the church from janitor to kindergarten Sunday school teacher to small group leader and lots more. After traveling to Mexico twice on short term missions projects and spending 2 years learning Spanish Lance has a passion for the Hispanic community. In his spare time Lance keeps himself busy with his wife Janine, three sons, and a full time job as a computer programmer.

This is Brian's first official job as a pastor. He recently studied at Seattle Pacific University for a degree in Chrisitan Theology. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has been active in teaching and music for some years. He came to Tacoma in order to learn the ropes of the pastorate as he works towards his ordination. Currently, he leads the Jr. and Sr. High Youth Groups, participates on the worship team on Sunday mornings and directs the community computer training center. When he is not hard at work, he spends the rest of his time with his winsome wife and darling daughter. Once in a while, he hones his Halo skills.

Janine has had a love for children her entire adult life. She has spent 15 years working with children through the church. As if that weren't enough, in 2001 she decided what she wanted to be when she grows up and returned to college to complete a degree in education. Janine is now a full time teacher in addition to leading children's ministries at Tacoma Light and Life. She comes by her interest in children's ministries honestly. Her grandmother served as the children's ministries coordinator for the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free Methodist Church. Janine's interactions with children are characterized by fun. She has a way of turning ordinary tasks and mundane learning into fun and exciting activities. The fun doesn't stop with children's activities - Janine loves soccer which she has played for 30 years and she loves to vacation in warm places.
I started out as a child...(yeah, I know... Kinda goofy, but...) Brought up in a Christian home with steadfast loving parents. Strayed anyway... (Hard head I guess) It's a good thing Jesus is a much better angler than I am a fish... Took a while, but He finally got me in the boat!!! I finally learned that He made me a musician for His Good and Perfect pleasure! And that's what brings me here! Details supplied upon request as long as they are accompanied by pizza, home baking, or barbecue! (Oh... and I almost forgot) Dark roast coffee...

Won was born in North Korea, but educated in Soeul, South Korea. He studied at Kun-Kuk University and received a degree in Animal Husbandry. He moved to America more than 30 years ago, and was called by God to be a pastor. He recieved his Theological Education degree from Western Reformed Seminary. Won is a Korean-speaking pastor, not a Korean pastor. He believes that he is called to be a pastor not just to Korean-speaking people, but all people. He believes that in Christ we are all one, we are all equal no matter what language we speak. He is praying to build a multicultural church in our area.
